I was a little skeptical buying an “altered” laptop from someone other than the manufacturer, but this has turned out to be a great experience and I’m very pleased.

It arrived a few days early, which is always nice, and in perfect condition – no scrapes, finger prints, etc. on the body of the laptop. Booted up without issue, setup was a breeze, no issues getting any of my regularly used applications installed and working. I specifically wanted something with a full keyboard, no touch screen, some extra storage space and RAM capacity, in a color that wasn’t black. Specs are accurate with what’s advertised and after having it for a few weeks, I love it! The off-center mousepad was weird at first, but you get used to it.

I already have a gaming PC, so this was more for video streaming, studying, browsing, and maybe some light “mobile” gaming from the couch. Surprisingly, it runs Dragon Age: Inquisition (though on lower graphics and with some lag), but for a computer that isn’t built for AAA games, that’s pretty impressive.

Overall, I’m happy with this purchase. The specs are better than anything Lenovo offers off their website at a good price and the performance is solid. I would happily repurchase another computer from this seller in the future.

5/4 update: 2 months in, and I’ve had zero issues with any of the hardware or software. I’ll be using it to take some college classes from home and fully anticipate a good experience :) If you’re thinking about it, I’d say go for it, I’m really happy with this.
